CNC machined parts, plates, enclosures, and faceplates, either bent or hogged out, pass in and out of our shop weekly. Mostly made from 6061-T6 and 7075.
We also produce signage from colored anodized aluminum sheet goods we purchase and shear to size as well.
CO2 and fiber lasers each create unique marks on aluminum.
CO2 lasers make a silver/gray to white mark on the surface of colored or clear anodized aluminum, type II or type III. Powdercoating or paints can be removed to show the material underneath.
Fiber lasers make a variety of marks on aluminum. White to dark, shallow to deep. Raised mark or recessed.
In addition to engraving flat surfaces with the flying rail system, we can use our three and four jaw chucks for holding parts in our precision rotary device. We rebuilt that device from the original factory equipment in order to meet the tolerances of our customers.
